2006 Compensation for Boeing CEO Jim McNerney

While exact estimates of Boeing CEO Jim McNerney’s compensation for 2006 differ, the lowest estimate is almost $14 million. Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune has reported that his compensation was over $20 million last year.
So while McNerney takes home millions of dollars, Boeing has received local and state tax breaks, along with multi-billion dollar contracts to fuel an unjust and unpopular war. This is a clear example of the kind of corporate abuse of power that is all too common, particularly within the military business.
